ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops apprehended 10 from different parts of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Aabpara police team arrested two accused namely Muhammad Zahid and Muhammad Asif involved in possessing illegal weapons and recovered one 30 bore pistol and one 32 bore revolver with ammunition from their possession. Golra police team arrested an accused namely Mudasir Khan involved in drug peddling and recovered 1250 gram hashish from his possession while police team also arrested two accused namely Muhammad Zubair and Muhammad Ishfaq involved in illegally selling petrol.
Similarly, Sangjani police team arrested two accused namely Zia Ullah and Javed Shah involved in drug peddling and recovered 2500 gram hashish from their possession. The Industrial Area police team arrested an accused namely Mohsin Ali and recovered one iron punch from his possession.
Moreover, the Noon police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Naveed involved in possessing illegal weapon and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession, while police team also arrested an accused namely Ameer Shah involved in illegally refilling gas cylinders. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
