10 caught, stolen bike, valuables recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Sihalam arrested 10 outlaws, involved in motorbike lifting, dacoity and house burglaries, while recovering cash, stolen motorbike, gold ornaments, valuables from their possession. A massive crackdown has been launched against anti-social elements and drug peddlers to make the Capital a crime-free city, SSP Operations stated.
According to details, SP Rural Zone Rana Abdul Wahab constituted a special police team under the supervision of SDPO Rukhsar Medhi including PS Sihala’s SHO Inspector Mirza Muhammad Gulfraz along with others. The teams successfully apprehended 10 outlaws from various areas of the sihala police station.
The accused were identified as Rehmat Ullah, Rehmat Hussain, Yasir Nawaz, Muhammad Nawaz, Memrez, Faisal, Azam Farzman, Rehmat Ullah and Yasir and recovered cash, stolen motorbike, gold ornaments, valuables from their possession. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
IGP Islamabad Qazi Jamil-ur-Rehman has appreciated the performance of Sihala police team and announced rewards.
SSP Operations Syed Mustafa Tanvir has asked for renewed efforts to curb such practices and get rid of society from such menace. The SSP also categorically asked all police officials to focus on resolving the public complaints and take every possible step to provide maximum relief to citizens. He said that performance in this regard would be reviewed on continuous basis.
