10 lawbreakers including five members of 2 gangs busted

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops have arrested 10 outlaws including five members of bike-lifters and house buglers gangs and recovered six stolen motorbikes, foreign currency, cash, narcotic and weapons from them. According to details, Following these orders, DIG Operations Afzaal Ahmed Kausar, SSP Operations Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanweer has directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime and drug pushing in the city and said that no laxity would be tolerated in this regard. Following these directions, SP City Zone Rana Abdul Wahab constituted a special police team under the supervision of ASP Asad Ali, SHO Bhara Kahu Inspector Asjad Mehmood along with other officials, conducted operation and arrested five accused Sajjad Hussain, Adeel Ahmed, Mohsin Iqbal, Yaseen and Muhammad Aqib (PO) and recovered 2750 gram hashish, 20 gram Ice, and weapon along with ammunition from their possession. Separatete cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway from them.
Following the directions, SP Rural Zone Muhammad Usman Tipu constituted a special police team under the supervision DSP Abid Ikarm including SHO Khurram Shahzad along with others and apprehended two accused identified as Faizan and Yousaf and recovered six stolen motorbikes from their possession. During the primary interrogation, the accused confessed in motorbike lifting in the area of koral police station and various areas of the city. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. Moreover, following the directions, SP Saddar Zone Nosherwan constituted a special police team under the supervision DSP Sajjad Bukhari including SHO Golra along with officials of Chowki D-12 and arrested three members of house buglers gang, identified as Ghulam Mustafa, Muhammad Imran and Ehsan Ullah and recovered looted foreign currency, cash and weapons used in crime. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway from them. DIG Operations Afzaal Ahmed Kausar and SSP Operations Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanweer have appreciated the performance and directed all Station House Officers for effective crackdown against that involvement in criminal’s activities. He asked for renewed efforts to curb such practices and get rid of society from such menace. He said that performance in this regard would be reviewed on a continuous basis.
