ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police are conducting an effective crackdown across the federal capital to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property and to curb crime and arrest criminal elements.
In this regard, police teams from Women police station, Margalla, Khanna, Koral, Kirpa, Lohi Bher, and Banigala arrested 08 accused and recovered 1,280 grams of hashish, 1,076 grams of heroin, 746 grams of ice, and three pistols of different bores with ammunition from their possession.
Cases have been registered, and further investigation is ongoing. Meanwhile, during the special campaign launched to arrest proclaimed offenders and court absconders, three proclaimed offenders were also arrested.
