11 caught, stolen bike, drugs & arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Cops apprehended 11 criminals involved in criminal activities and recovered stolen bike, drug, and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha had ordered all zonal officers to curb the crime in their respective areas and arrest those involved in looting innocent people.
Following these directives, a Secretariat police team apprehended an accused namely Waqas Ahmed and recovered a klashinkov along with ammunition from his possession. Likewise, Kohsar police arrested two accused namely Afzal Ahmed and Muhammad khalil and recovered two 30 bore pistols along with ammunition from their possession.
Similarly, Bhara Kahu police arrested an accused involved in drug peddling namely Waryaam Abbasi and recovered 1220 gram hashish from his possession. Pulhgran police team arrested 03 accused namely Shakar Iqbal, Jameel Hussain and Zahid Mehmood involved in drug peddling and possessing illegal weapons and recovered 1370 gram hashish, 1250 gram heroin and one 30 bore pistol from their possession. The police team also arrested an accused named Noman Haider involved in illegal gas filling.
Moreover, Bani Gala police team arrested two accused namely Gulfam Tariq and Waseem Raza involved in drug peddling and recovered 1425 gram hashish, 1035 gram heroin from their possession, while police team arrested a bike lifter namely Waseem Ali and recovered stolen bike from his possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha said that the safety of the lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
