ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 12 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered a huge cache of drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a police public relations officer said.
He said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO), the Islamabad Capital Police have intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Nilore police team arrested an accused namely Mateen Hussain and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. The Phulgran police team arrested 03accused namely Raheem, Ghulam Jaffar and Kamran and recovered 1395 gram heroin from their possession.
Moreover, the Industrial Area police team arrested two accused namely Ansar Javed and Faiz Ullah and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition and 20 liters liquor from their possession. The Tarnol police team arrested 03 drunker accused namely Fayyaz, Zain Ali and Zuneer Ahmed and recovered one liquor bottle from their possession.
Furthermore, the Karachi Company police team arrested Ahmed Ali and Nazar Ali and recovered two 30 bore pistols with ammunition from their possession. During the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders, the Ramna police station team arrested one absconder. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
