Manchester: After a dismal performance with the bat in the second inning which costed three-wickets loss against England in the first Test, Pakistani head coach Misbah-ul-Haq aims to bring consistency in batting. In a video message released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Misbah said batters were failed to maintain the rhythm in the second inning.
“We failed to carry the consistency in the second inning. Our batting was collapsed and I think it was one of the major reasons behind the loss,” he said.
“Buttler and Woakes played brilliantly and a single partnership took the game away from us. We need to look at where we lacked and try to come up with a more strong plan in next game,” he added.
“We need to work on bringing consistency in or batting which is very important to win the match,” he maintained.
