ISLAMABAD: Capital police during a drive against anti social elements arrested 13 outlaws.
Following directions of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas, a massive campaign had been launched in the city to curb the criminal activities.
Following these directions, Bhara Kahu police arrested accused Gul Hameed and recovered 1210 grams of heroin from him. Tarnol police arrested 04 accused Ghulam Ali, Syed ul rehman, Sher Ali and Abid and recovered 1820 grams heroin, three pistols along with ammunition from their possession.
Likewise, Golra police arrested 03 accused namely Nadeem, Sohail and Javed and recovered 470 gram heroin and 30 bore pistol with ammunition from their possession. Koral police arrested 02 accused Khateeb Ahmed and Mohsin ul Hassan and recovered 215 grams heroin and 30 bore pistol. PS Noon police arrested accused Adil and recovered iron punch.
Further-more PS Shams Colony and Noon arrested two accused Qurban Ali and Abdul Khaliq and recovered 02 pistols from their possession. Cases have been registered against the accused and investigation is underway
IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas has appreciated the police performance and further directed to intensify this crackdown in the whole city.
