ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Margalla, Noon, Sangjani, Phulgran and Bani Gala police stations teams arrested 14 accused involved in different criminal activities. Police teams also recovered 1,060 gram Hashish, 370 gram of crystal meth and three pistols with ammunition from the possession. Cases have been registered against them and further investigations are ongoing.
Additionally, during a special campaign launched for the arrest of proclaimed offenders and absconders, various police teams arrested seven criminals. Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police continues its effective crackdown against crime and criminal elements to ensure the peace and tranquility in the federal capital.
