14 busted, drugs & arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 14 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons from their possession. Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Kohsar police team arrested two accused and recovered 40 liters of liquor from their possession. The Margalla police team arrested two accused namely Muhammad Islam and Ahmed Sarfraz and recovered 260 gram heroin, 20 liter liquor from their possession.
Likewise, the Karachi Company police team arrested an accused namely Hamid and recovered 73 gram heroin from his possession. The Shalimar police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Raheel and recovered 155 gram heroin from his possession.
Similarly, the Ramna police team arrested an accused namely Arslan and recovered 500 gram hashish from his possession. The Tarnol police team arrested an accused namely Niazi Muhammad and recovered 2,566 gram heroin and 590 gram Ice from his possession. Moreover, the Industrial Area police team arrested two accused namely Nasir Ali and Abid Ali and recovered one 30 bore pistol and one liquor bottle from their possession. Furthermore, the Shams Colony police team arrested an accused namely Shahid Ali and Jahangir and recovered 120 gram ice and dagger from their possession. The police team also arrested an accused namely Zahir Shah involved in illegal cylinder filling.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
