ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, an effective crackdown is ongoing across the federal capital to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property by combating crime and arresting criminal elements.
In this regard, police teams from Ramna, Tarnol, Sangjani, Industrial Area, Noon, Khanna, Humak, Phulgran and Shahzad Town police stations arrested 11 accused and recovered huge amounts of heroin, Ice, three pistols and one Kalashankof along with ammunition from their possession. Cases have been registered against the arrested accused, and further investigation is in progress. Additionally, during a special campaign launched for the arrest of proclaimed offenders and court absconders, three wanted criminals were also apprehended.
