14 including five members of dacoit gang held

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops during a drive against anti social elements arrested 14 outlaws. Following directions of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas, a massive campaign had been launched in the city to curb the criminal activities. Following these directions, Aabpara police team arrested bootleggers namely Zain Saleem and recovered 20 liters from him. Bani Gala police arrested two accused Naiz Muhammad and Muhammad Habib and and recovered 410 gram hashish from him.
Golra police team arrested a lady accued Gul Zarin and recovered 248 gram heroin and 20 gram Ice from their possession. Tarnol police arrested accused Baber and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. Lohibher police arrested accused Hamza and recovered 223 bore gun along with ammunition. While Bhara Kahu police arrested eight persons including three ladies involved in immoral activities. Cases have been registered against the accused and investigation is underway IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas has appreciated the police performance and further directed to intensify this crackdown in the whole city. “ No one would be allowed to play with the precious lives of the citizens, “ he added.
The IGP emphasized that citizens should also take part in this noble cause and inform any suspicious activity. “It’s our collective responsibility to curb this social evil from the city” the IGP informed.
