-Drugs & arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 14 criminals including drug peddlers involved in criminal activities and recovered drugs, liquor and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha had ordered all zonal officers to curb the crime in their respective areas and arrest those involved in looting innocent people.
Following these directives, a Secertariot police team arrested two accused namely Ali Zaib and Muhammad Maqbool and recovered 20 gram ice, 1960 gram hashish and 400 gram heroin from their possession. The Kohsar police team arrested two accused namely Abbas and Yasir and recovered 1370 gram heroin, 80 liters liquor and 35 wine bottles from their possession.
Similarly, the Bhara Kahu police team arrested an accused namely Adeeb and recovered 1245 gram hashish from his possession. Tarnol police arrested an accused namely Muhammad Shahbaz and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. Moreover, Sangjani police arrested an accused Naveed Hussain and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. Khanna police arrested a bootlegger namely Zeeshan and recovered 450 liters liquor and one 30 bore pistol from his possession.
Furthermore, the Koral police team arrested an accused namely Sulman khan and recovered 1200 gram heroin from his possession. Kirpa police team arrested 03 accused including a lady namely Abdul Qadeer, Qayyum and fouzia and recovered 60 liters liquor and one 30 bore pistol from their possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During a special crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders police teams arrested two accused from different areas of a city.
DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha said that the safety of the lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
