ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested 14 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons.
Following orders of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas, a massive campaign against criminal elements and to secure the life and property of the citizens.
According to the details, Tarnol police arrested two drug peddlers namely Ashraf Khan and Abid Hussain and recovered 1850 gram hashish also recovered one 30 bore pistol from an accused Abdul Samad. Golra police arrested a drug peddler namely Abdullah and recovered 230 gram hashish.
Likewise, Shalimar police team arrested a drug peddler namely Malik Zahid and recovered 1045 gram hashish and 15 bottles of wine while Bhara Kahu police recovered one 30 bore pistol from accused Mubeen ahmad and one magazine from accused Sudheer Ahmad.
Similarly, Kohsar police team arrested two accused namely Baqir ali and Faraz Masih and recovered two 30 bore pistols with ammunition. Lohi Bher police recovered one 30 bore pistol from an accused Zafar Iqbal during checking. Koral police arrested two accused namely Hamza and Faizan and recovered one 30 bore pistol and 210 gram hashish.
Khanna and bani Gala police teams during snap-checking arrested two accused Naveed Masih and Arshad Ali and recovered 330 gram hashish. Cases against all the accused have been registered and further investigation is underway.
IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas has appreciated the police performance and further directed to the all zonal officers to intensify the security in their respective areas and arrest the accused looting citizens.
