15 including 6 professional beggars busted

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops apprehended 15 outlaws including six professional beggars from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Karachi Company police team arrested an accused namely Saqib involved in possessing illegal weapon and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. The Sabzi Mandi police team arrested two accused namely Syed Wali and Hasnain and recovered two 30 bore pistols with ammunition from their possession.
Similarly, during the ongoing crackdown against professional beggars and their handlers the Koral police team arrested 06 professional beggars from different areas.
The Khanna and Koral police station team arrested two accused namely Usman and Muneeb Kamran involved in possessing illegal weapons and recovered 02 pistols with ammunition from their possession.
Moreover, the Phulgran and Shahzad Town police team arrested two accused namely Abdul Manan and Faraz involved in possessing illegal weapons and recovered one pistol and 12 bore gun with ammunition from their possession.
Furthermore, the Bani Gala police team arrested an accused namely Zohaib Khan involved in drug peddling and recovered 1050 gram hashish from his possession. While in another case an accused namely Ismail was arrested and one 9mm pistol recovered from his possession.
During the crackdown against the absconders and proclaimed offenders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested two absconders. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
