ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 17 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city. Following these directives, the Secretariat police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Saddam and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. The Margalla police team arrested an accused namely Washal and recovered 10 liters liquor from his possession.
Likewise, PS Sangjani arrested an accused namely Sher Ali involved in illegally selling petrol. The shams colony police team arrested two accused namely Abdullah and Zarwali and recovered 2650 gram heroin from their possession. Similarly, the Khanna police team arrested an accused namely Asad Ali and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. The Koral police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Allah and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession.
Moreover, the Lohi Bher police team arrested an accused namely Umer Shahzad and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. The Bhara Kahu police team arrested an accused namely Tabbish Ali and recovered 460 gram heroin from his possession.
Furthermore, the Nilore police team arrested an accused namely Abdul Basit involved in illegally refilling gas cylinders. During the crackdown against the absconders and proclaimed offenders, the Islamabad Capital Police teams arrested four absconders from different areas of the city. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
