ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 18 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Kohsar police team arrested an accused namely Faisal Arshad Masih and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. The Margalla police team arrested two accused namely Asif and Aleem Shah and recovered 3140 gram hashish from their possession.
Likewise, the Golra police team arrested two accused namely Numan and Dilawar involved in illegally selling petrol and gas refilling. Tarnol police team arrested an accused namely ShakirUllah and recovered 1080 gram heroin from his possession.
Similarly, the Kirpa police team arrested three accused namely Rustam, Ilyas and Asif and recovered three 30 bore pistols with ammunition from their possession. The Nilor police team arrested an accused namely Adil and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession.
The Phulgran police team arrested two accused namely Tariq Bashir and Muhammad Wajid and recovered 210 gram hashish and one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from their possession.
Moreover, the Noon police team arrested three accused namely Abdul Rehman, Nasir Khan and Waqar Ahmed and recovered two pistols and 80 gram hashish from their possession.
During the ongoing crackdown against absconders and proclaimed offenders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested three absconders from various areas of the city. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
