18 caught, drugs & arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad capital police apprehended 18 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Aabpara police team arrested two accused namely Zaheer Abbas and Yousuf Javed involved in drug peddling and recovered 2460 gram hashish from their possession. The Golra police team arrested two accused namely Rohail and Zaheer involved in illegal petrol selling and gas refilling.
Similarly, the Phulgran police team arrested two accused namely Asif Shah and Atif Hussain involved in possessing illegal weapons and recovered two 30 bore pistols with ammunition from their possession. The Golra police team arrested two accused namely Mohsin Khan and Ikram Ullah involved in drug peddling and recovered 515 gram Ice and 530 gram heroin from their possession.
Moreover, the Shahzad Town police team arrested two accused namely Muhammed Amir and Khawaja Umar involved in possessing illegal weapons and recovered one 9mm and one 30 bore pistol from their possession. The Tarnol police team arrested two accused namely Najaf Hussain Shah and Shahzad Ali involved in selling illegal petrol.
Furthermore, the Khanna police team arrested three accused namely Rohail Shariq, Amir Mehmood and Rizwan Ali involved in possessing illegal weapons and recovered three 30 bore pistols from their possession.

Wanted member of bike lifter gang held, stolen bike recovered

Islamabad: Islamabad capital police Shahzad Town police team has arrested a wanted member of a bike lifter gang and recovered a stolen motorbike from his possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements involved in bike and car lifting incidents in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
According to the details, the Shahzad Town police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a bike lifter gang involved in numerous bike lifting incidents. The accused was identified as Shahbaz.

Snatchers’ gang
busted, loot recovered

Islamabad: Islamabad Capital Police Margalla police team arrested a wanted member of a snatcher gang involved in numerous snatching activities and recovered two mobile phones from his possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city. Following these directions, a Margalla police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a snatcher gang involved in numerous snatching activities in various areas of the city. The accused was identified as Faisal.
Police team also recovered two mobile phones from his possession. Case was registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
Senior police officers appreciated the performance of the police team and added that it is the prime responsibility of police to provide relief to the citizens and every possible effort would be made to ensure it.
