19 booked, arms, valuables recovered

ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Dr Syed Mustafa Tanweer had directed all zonal officers to intensify crackdown against criminals to provide relief to the masses. Following the directions 19 outlaws were arrested during last 24 hours. According to the details, Koral police arrested accused Mohsin Raza and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from him.
Lohibher police arrested two accused Muhammad Zubair and Umer Hayat and recovered two 30 bore pistols from their possession. Banigala police arrested accused Sajjad and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. Noon police arrested two accused selling diesel illegally. Ramana police arrested accused Ali Raza and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition. Secretariat police arrested accused Muhammad Gul involved in theft case. Golra police arrested accused Muhammad Usman and recovered 20 hukah from him. Cases have been registered against the nabbed persons and further investigation is underway. During special crackdown against absconders, Islamabad police nabbed seven proclaimed offenders and court absconders from various area of the city. DIG Operations Afzaal Ahmad Kausar and SSP Operations have appreciated this performance of police teams. SSP directed all police officers to continue crackdown against land-grabbers and criminals in the Capital. He said that prime responsibility of police is to protect the lives and property of citizens and all out efforts would be made in this regard.
