19 including seven gamblers held

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops, while operating against anti-social elements, busted 19 outlaws including seven gamblers from various parts of the city and recovered cash, gold ornaments, wine, hashish, gambling tools, valuable and weapons from their possession.
According to details, following the directives of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfqar Khan and DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed, all officials of Capital Cops accelerated their efforts to curb activities of anti-social elements and drug pushers. Thus, at a tip off, SP City Omer Khan constituted a special team under the supervision of ASP Hamza Aman Ullah including PS Bara Kaho’s SHO Naveed Tahir along with others. The given team managed to arrest accused Saeed Abbasi and recovered gold ornaments and cash from him. Case have been registered againg them and further investigation is underway from him.
Meanwhile, SP Rural Malik Naeem Iqbal constituted a special police team under supervision of DSP Sardar Ghulam Mustafa including SHO Mirza Muhammad Gulfraz, Sub-Inspector Ghulam Mustafa along with others which raid at a gambling den nabbed seven gamblers later identified as Hamad Ali, Mirzaman, Haris, Shahzeel, Danyal, Muhammad Sulman and Usman. Police team d recovered stake money, and gambling tools from their possession.
Furthermore, SP Saddar Sarfraz Ahmed Virk constituted a special police teams under the supervision of ASP Rana Abdul Wahab including PS Shalimar’s SHO SI Sulman Shah along with other arrested two accused Mumraz Malak and Muhammad Nazam and recovered 1130 gram hashish and one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from their possession.
PS Bara Kaho, on the other hand, caught accused Faraz Sattar and recovered 230 gram hashish from him. Similarly, PS Karachi Company arrested accused Alian Maseeh and recovered 20 liters of wine from him while PS Tarnol caught a thief Safeer Muhammad and recovered valuables from him. The same cops also apprehended two accused Touseef Ahmed and Asif involved in selling diesel illegally.
CIA Cops, on the other hand, busted accused Ghulam Muhammad and recovered one 30 bore illicit pistol from him whereas PS Koral busted 3 accused Jawad, Addil and Asif, Rasheed, and Shahzad and recovered three pistols along with ammunition from their possession. Separate cases have been registered against the accused while further investigation is underway.
DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated the performance of the cops while directing all SHOs for effective crackdown against those involved in drug peddling activities. He further called for renewed efforts to curb such practices and get rid of society from such menaces. He said that the performance in this regard would be reviewed on continuous basis. The DIG also categorically asked all police officials to focus on resolving the public complaints and take every possible step to provide maximum relief to citizens.
