2 bike lifters, six stolen bikes & spare parts recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Golra team apprehended two wanted members of a bike lifter gang involved in numerous bike lifting activities and recovered six stolen motorcycles and spare parts from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police had started a crackdown against criminal elements involved in bike lifting activities in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directives, the Golra police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two accused involved in numerous bike lifting activities.
The police team also recovered six stolen motorcycles and spare parts from their possession. The accused were identified as Ahmed Raza and Afzal Khan. Cases have already been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in numerous bike lifting incidents in the jurisdiction of Islamabad.
