ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Anti-Robbery and Dacoity Unit (ARDU) police team arrested two wanted members of a criminal gang involved in looting citizens and snatching activities and recovered cash and mobile phones from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified the crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime in the city.
Following these directions, the ARDU police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of snatcher gangs who were wanted in several incidents of robbing citizens outside money changers. The accused were identified as Shahab-ud-Din and Abrar Masih. The police team also recovered snatched cash, motorbike and weapons from their possession.
Cases were registered against the nabbed accused in various police stations and further investigation is underway.
