2 criminals’ gangs busted 

-Stolen vehicle, weapons recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Tarnol and PS Ramana have arrested five persons of two criminal’s gangs involved in dacoity and bike lifting cases besides recovering stolen car, five motorbikes, snatched mobile phones, narcotic as well as weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan ordered crackdown against criminal elements. Following these orders, DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime in the city.
As par directions, SP Saddar Sarfraz Ahmed Virk constituted special team under supervision of ASP Shalimar Rana Abdul- Whab including SHO Ramana police station Sub-Inspector Muhammad Rasheed, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Akram, along with other officials who successfully arrested three members of a criminal gang involved in snatching mobile phones and other valuables at gun point from the citizens. The gangsters have been identified as
Spars, Rasheed and Mubashir while police team recovered snatched car, mobile phones and weapons along with ammunition from their possession. During the preliminary investigation, they confessed their involvement in snatching mobile phones and other valuables at gun point from the citizens. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway from them. Moreover, another special team under supervision of DSP Khalid Mehmood including SHO Tarnol police station Sub-Inspector Allamgir Khan, ASIs Muhammad Ishaq, Javed Sultan along with other officials arrested two members of a bike lifters gang .The gangsters have been identified as Haider and Akhtar Afghani while police team recovered five stolen motorbikes from their possession. Case have been registered against them and further investigation is underway from them.
DIG (Operations) Waqar Uddin Syed has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
