2 house burglars busted, stolen bike, loot recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police Lohi Bher and Industrial Area police teams have arrested two wanted members of a house burglar and bike lifter gang involved in numerous house burglary and motorbike lifting activities and recovered stolen motorbike, LED and valuables from their possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
According to the details, a Lohi Bher police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a house burglar gang. The accused was identified as Murad Khalid. Police team also recovered stolen LED and valuables from his possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in numerous criminal activities in various areas of the Lohi Bher police station. Furthermore, the Industrial Area police team arrested a wanted member of a bike lifter gang.
The accused was identified as Shoaib Ali.
Police team also recovered a stolen motorbike from his possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in numerous criminal activities in various areas of the twin cities police stations.
The Islamabad Capital City Police officers (ICCPO) directed the police officials to further intensify the crackdown against the criminal elements. “Safety and security of the citizens is our foremost priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard”, he maintained.
