2 Impersonators arrested; uniform & weapon recovered

Islamabad: Islamabad Capital Police Tarnol police team has arrested two impersonators and recovered police uniform, wireless set and weapon with ammunition from their possession.
The Islamabad capital police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements involved in fraudulent activities in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens, in compliance with the special directives of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Dr Akbar Nasir Khan.
Following these directives the Tarnol police team arrested two impersonators involved in fraudulent activities and recovered police uniform, wireless set, liquor and weapon with ammunition from their possession.
The accused were identified as Wazir Abbas and Noor Asif. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
Capital Police Officer Operations Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari said that safety of lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard, he added.

2 accused involved in illegal sale of subsidized flour held

Islamabad: Islamabad capital police Tarnol police station team apprehended two accused red handed involved in selling illegally government flour bags and recovered flour and empty bags from their possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the accused involved in fraudsters activities.
Following these directives, the Tarnol police team arrested two accused involved in selling illegally government flour and recovered flour and empty bags from their possession.
The arrested accused were identified as Naseeb Ullah and Abdullah. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
Islamabad Capital Police is taking all possible steps to ensure the safety of life and property of the citizens. Citizens are also requested to cooperate with the police and immediately report any suspicious thing or activity to the concerned police station or at Islamabad capital police helpline “Pukar” 15.

Member of thief gang
held; valuables recovered

Islamabad: Islamabad capital police Kohsar police team have arrested a wanted member of a thief gang and recovered valuables from his possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens. According to the details, a Kohsar police team arrested a wanted member of a thief gang. The accused was identified as Naseer Khan. Police team also recovered stolen valuables from his possession. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. CPO Operations Islamabad Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari directed all senior officials for effective crackdown against the accused involved in theft activities. “Safety and security of the citizens is our foremost priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard” he added.

Wanted member of
bike lifter gang held

Islamabad: Islamabad Capital police Koral police team apprehended a wanted member of inter provincial bike lifter gang involved in numerous bike lifting incidents and recovered eight stolen motorbikes from his possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had started a crackdown against criminal elements involved in car and bike lifting incidents in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directives, a Koral police team used the technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a inter-provincial bike lifter gang who was involved in numerous bike lifting incidents.
Police team also recovered eight stolen bikes from his possession. The accused was identified as Mehmood Ul Hassan. Cases are already registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed to being involved in many lifting incidents.
CPO Operations Islamabad Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari directed all senior officials for effective crackdown against the accused involved in car and bike lifting incidents. The performance of police officials in this regard would be reviewed on a continuous basis, he maintained.
He further directed all zonal officers to intensify the crackdown against the criminal elements. “Safety and security of the citizens is our foremost priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard” he added.
