ISLAMABAD: PS Sihala teams have arrested two members of a fraudster gang and recovered looted cash from their possession.
IGP Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan had ordered all zonal DPOs to curb the crime in their respective areas and arrest those involved in criminal activities and looting innocent people. Following these directions, DPO rural zone constituted a special police team headed by SHO Sihala which utilized all available resources and nabbed two members of a fraudster gang and recovered looted cash from their possession. The accused were identified as Imran Akber and Imtiaz.
The accused used to fraud the innocent citizens through OLX. Numerous cases were already registered against the accused in Layyah, Bhakkar, Sargodha, Mandi Bahauddin, Islamabad and Rawalpindi while further investigation is underway from them.
DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha has appreciated the performance of the police team and said that Islamabad police are making all out efforts for the safety and security of citizens. He has also requested the citizens to inform police in case of any such suspicious activity in their areas.
