ISLAMABAD: A citizen had lodged a complaint at Tarnol Police Station stating that unidentified assailants opened fire on Hayat Khan, critically injuring him. The victim later succumbed to his injuries. Upon receiving the complaint, Tarnol Police registered a case and initiated the investigation without delay.
Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq took strict notice of the incident and directed immediate action to ensure the arrest of the perpetrators. Acting on these directives, Tarnol Police and HIU teams, using modern technical and scientific methods, arrested the accused Suleman Khan alias Jabar Khan (the victim’s son) and Abdullah. During the investigation, the accused led police to the recovery of the murder tool pistol.
