ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, an effective crackdown is ongoing across the federal capital to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property by combating crime and arresting criminal elements.
In this regard, police teams from Aabpara, Karachi Company, Golra, Sumbal, Tarnol, Industrial Area, Sabzi Mandi, Khanna, Kirpa, Humak, Nilore, Bhara Kahu and Bani Gala police stations arrested 23 accused and recovered 1217 gram heroin, 762 gram ice, 439 liquor bottles, three pistols and one rifle along with ammunition and a dagger from their possession.
Cases have been registered against the arrested accused, and further investigation is in progress. Additionally, during a special campaign launched for the arrest of proclaimed offenders and court absconders, four wanted criminals were also apprehended.
