ISLAMABAD: Three men were booked from the Capital for displaying arms on social media.
According to details, the men identified as Abdul Rahim, Abdul Rahman, and Mirza Nauman, had uploaded a video on their social media accounts showing weapons. The video showed the men smoking a hookah while guns were lying on a table in front of them. Cops arrested the men after the video went viral. Their weapons have been seized.
As par Section 11B of the Pakistan Arms Ordinance, 1965, the carrying or display of arms at fairs or in gatherings or processions of a political, religious, ceremonial or sectarian character or in the premises of courts of law or public offices, is prohibited. Defying the orders can result in the suspension or cancellation of the weapons’ license, fines, and imprisonment for at least seven years.

ISLAMABAD: On the directives of SP Industrial Area Zone Zubair Ahmed Sheikh PS Industrial Area booked two notorious accused Gulraiz Mashi S/O Khurshid Mashi R/O Tehsil Jhania District Khanewal and Shahid Mehmood S/O Maqsood Ahmed R/O Khangi Sydian Ali Pur Farash Islamabad and recovered 288 bottles of liquor and 50 litres of liquor from their custody respectively and lodged two separate FIRs. Further investigation is underway.
