ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Karachi Company, Shalimar, Golra, Sumabl, Sangjani, Industrial Area, Humak, Bhara Kahu and Shahzad Town police stations teams arrested 17 accused involved in different criminal activities.
Police teams also recovered 421 gram ice, 145 gram heroin, 110 hashish, 210 bottles liquor and 10 pistols with ammunition from the possession of the arrested accused. Cases have been registered against them and further investigations are ongoing.
Additionally, during a special campaign launched for the arrest of proclaimed offenders and absconders, various police teams arrested 24 criminals. Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police continues its effective crackdown against crime and criminal elements to ensure the peace and tranquility in the federal capital.
