ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of the IGP Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police has launched a special “Nasha Ab Nahi” movement to eradicate narcotics and keep the youngsters safe from the curse of drugs. Islamabad Police apprehended 43 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered hashish, heroin, ice, and weapons from their possession. PS Sumbal police team arrested an accused namely Saif Ullah and recovered 1230 gram hashish from his possession. The Industrial -Area police team arrested two accused namely Touseef and Arshad and recovered 1130 gram hashish from their possession.
Likewise, PS Sabzi Mandi arrested an accused namely Dilawar Khan and recovered 600 gram hashish from his possession. The Sihala police team arrested an accused namely Miraj Aziz and recovered 95 gram Ice from his possession. Humak police arrested an accused namely Muhammad Salamat and recovered 548 gram hashish from his possession.
Similarly, PS Aabpara police team arrested two accused namely Zain Ali and Muhammad Usman and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. The Sumbal police team arrested an accused namely Asim Khan and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession.
Moreover, the Shams Colony police team arrested an accused namely Zahid and recovered one dagger from his possession. The Industrial Area police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Ishfaq and recovered an iron punch from his possession. Furthermore, PS Khanna team arrested an accused namely Naseeb Ali khan and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. The Lohi Bher police team arrested two accused Muhammad Nadeem and Muhammad Javed and recovered two 30 bore pistols from their possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and absconders, the Islamabad Police teams arrested 30 absconders and Target offenders from various areas of the city.
