4th batch of Upper Training Course concludes

ISLAMABAD: The fourth batch of the Upper Course at Capital Police College Islamabad concluded successfully. In this regard, a dignified ceremony was organized at the college, in which Director Special Initiatives Shams ul Haq Durrani attended as the chief guest.
DSP Training and other police officers were also present on the occasion. A total of 51 officers from Islamabad Police took part in the fourth batch of the Upper Course. The chief guest congratulated the officers on successfully completing the course and distributed certificates of appreciation among officers who showed exceptional performance.
During the course, Sub-Inspector Shah Zaman displayed outstanding performance by securing the positions of all-round first, best in law, and best in parade, while Sub-Inspector Mian Muhammad Imran earned the honor of best in rifle shooting.
Addressing the ceremony, Director Special Initiatives Shams ul Haq Durrani said that all the officers had successfully completed the departmental promotional training course, which is indeed a commendable achievement. He added that he felt extremely pleased to participate in the passing-out ceremony as the chief guest.
He congratulated the DSP Training and the training staff for providing excellent training to the officers within a short period of time and stated that police officers are fortunate that Allah Almighty has granted them the opportunity to serve the public.
Addressing the officers, he said that they should always remember that they are servants of the people and that serving citizens is their true mission. He further stated that there is no greater deed than serving humanity.
If officers sincerely resolve citizen problems and treat them with kindness and respect, honor and dignity will naturally follow. He urged the officers to uphold the law and ensure the fair and impartial provision of justice to citizens.
He added that protecting the lives and property of citizens, resolving their issues promptly, and respecting their dignity should remain the top priorities of the police, while service to humanity should always remain at the center of their character and professional responsibilities.
