-Cash, mobile phones, gold, bikes recovered
ISLAMABAD: Saddar Zone police teams arrested five members of three criminal gangs and recovered snatched cash, mobile phones, gold ornaments, valuables motorbikes and weapons used in crime, here on Friday.
According to the details, SSP Operations Islamabad police, Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanweer had categorically directed all the Zonal SPs to accelerate their efforts to arrest the accused involved in street crime and snatching incidents and recover the looted items. Following these directions, SP Saddar Zone Farooq Amjad Butter constituted police teams under supervision of SDPO Saddar Circle Sajjad Bukhari
Including SHO Tarnol police station Inspector Asjad Mehmood and other police officials. This team ensured high vigilance in the area and succeeded to nab 02 persons involved in various dacoity incidents on Highway.
The accused have been identified as Muhammad Usman and Fasee Saood and recovered motorbike and pistols along with ammunition from their possession and accused have been sent to jail on judicial remand while investigation is underway from rest of the three accused, according to the officials.
Moreover SHO Golra Sub –Inspector Asim Ghafar , Sub-Inspector Asim Zahidi along with other officials succeeded to nab 2 persons involved in various snatching incident in sector G-13 incidents.
The accused have been identified as Naveed Hayat and Shams ur Rehman and recovered snatched cash, gold ornaments, motorbike and pistols along with ammunition from their possession, while investigation is underway from them.
Further-more SHO Karachi company Sub-Inspector Asif ,ASI Imran Haider arrested a wanted member of house buglers gang identified as Qasi Ali , accused has been sent to jail on judicial remand.
SSP (Operations) has said that during the preliminary investigation, the accused have confessed their involvement in incidents of snatching and street crime in the various areas of the city. IGP Islamabad Qazi Jamil Ur Rehman and DIG (Operations) Afzaal Ahmed Kausar have appreciated this performance and announced cash rewards and commendation certificates for the team.
