5 Sahulat Bazaars set up at Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: On directives of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar, five Sahulat bazaars have been set up in Rawalpindi Tehsil where food items are available at less than the official rates.
The Sahulat bazaars have been set up at Rawal Road, Committee Chowk, Hyderi Chowk, Model Bazaar Chauhar Chowk and Gulzar Quaid. These bazaars are closely monitored to ensure that food items are available to the public at prices lower than the government rates.
Giving details, Secretary Market Committee Rawalpindi Faisal Bashir said that vegetables, fruits, poultry and groceries have been provided in these bazaars. He said that vegetables and fruits are available in Sahulat bazaars at Rs. 5 to 10 less than the government rates.
Faisal Bashir said that vegetables and fruits are provided fresh and the rate list is prominently displayed in every Sahulat bazaar and citizens should buy all food items at the same rates and in case of any complaint contact the market committee or complaint number.
