ISLAMABAD: According to the details, under the guidance and directives of Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police installed 50 new high-tech cameras from High-Security zone to Airport, a police public relations officer said.
He said that, the installation of these cameras aims to bolster the monitoring of routes from Airport to High-Security Zone.
ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan emphasized that the Islamabad Capital Police is fully committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of the citizens. The implementation of these new cameras is a crucial step towards maintaining law and order, effective monitoring, and safeguarding the peace of the city.
He further said that, the high-tech cameras will be strategically positioned to cover critical areas, enhancing the overall surveillance network.
The Islamabad Capital Police urges citizens to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious objects or activities they may come across. In the interest of public safety, the police have made it easy to report such incidents by calling the emergency helpline Pukar-15.
