ISLAMABAD: Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police continues its effective crackdown across the federal capital to prevent crime, apprehend criminal elements, and ensure the safety and security of citizens.
As part of the ongoing operations, Islamabad Police teams arrested five accused individuals involved in drug trafficking and the illegal possession of weapons. Police recovered 751 grams of Ice and one gun along with ammunition, from their possession. Cases have been registered against the arrested accused, and further investigation is underway. Meanwhile, during a special campaign launched to arrest proclaimed offenders, individuals with previous criminal records, and court absconders, Islamabad Police arrested two wanted offenders.
