7 criminals held during crackdown by Police

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops, during a drive against anti-social elements, arrested seven outlaws in the last 24 hours from different areas of the city.
According to the details, following the special directives of IGP Islamabad, Capital Cops categorically initiated crackdown against criminals elements to curb crime and arrest those involved in looting innocent people.
PS Banigala arrested two drug peddlers namely Waleed Afzal and Qasim Raza and recovered 285 gram Ice from their possession. PS Tarnol booked Rehman and recovered a 30-bore pistol from him.
PS Ramna and PS Karachi Company teams apprehended two accused namely Mubasher Ali and Muhammad Zulfiqar and recovered one 30-bore pistol and one 8mm rifile along with ammounation from their posession.
Similarly, PS Khanna and PS Shams Colony teams caught two accused namely Muhammad Arslan and Rehaman and recovered two 30 bore pistols with ammunition from possession.
Cases have been registered against the nominated accused and further investigation is underway. Islamabad Capital Territory Police have accelerated its efforts against criminal elements in the city to curb the crime and to save the lives and property of the citizens. Citizens are also requested to co-operate with the police and inform about any suspicious activity around them.
