ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police are continuing indiscriminate actions against criminal elements in the federal capital.
In this regard, the Khanna police station team conducted a major operation and arrested 08 members of two organized gangs wanted in multiple incidents of armed robbery of citizens at gunpoint.


From the possession of the arrested accused, stolen cash, valuable mobile phones, motorcycle, and weapons along with ammunition used in the crimes were recovered.
The arrested accused were wanted by Islamabad Police in cases of robbery and other heinous crimes. During the preliminary investigation, the arrested accused confessed to their involvement in multiple criminal incidents, while efforts are underway to arrest other accomplices of the gangs.
DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, stated that indiscriminate action will continue against criminals who deprive citizens of their valuable assets.
He further said that Islamabad Police are carrying out large-scale operations against organized and active gangs, and these operations will continue until the city becomes a haven of peace.
