BEIJING: The countdown to the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) opening has reached one month, with nearly 70 countries and international organizations planning to host exhibitions and events.
The 2025 CIFTIS will be held from September 10 to 14 at Beijing’s Shougang Park, a three-square-kilometer industrial heritage site and a previous venue of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.The fair consists of sectors including finance, culture and tourism, education, sports, supply chain and healthcare services.
According to the latest media briefing, more than 800 enterprises are expected to participate, including over 330 from the Fortune Global 500 and other industry-leading companies.
Booth recruitment for both the main and specialized exhibitions is nearly complete, with Australia, the guest country of honor, and Anhui Province, the guest province of honor, preparing their largest delegations to date. Australia will participate with around 60 institutions and enterprises, focusing on the finance and consumer sectors. Meanwhile, Anhui will highlight achievements in quantum communication, new energy vehicle development, service trade innovations, and cultural exports, presenting a “Beautiful Anhui” service trade showcase.
The press briefing also highlighted that the fair’s internationalization rate will exceed 20 percent, featuring 24 of the top 30 global service-trade economies.
Exhibitors will focus on the annual theme, leveraging technology and smart tools to showcase new application scenarios, solutions, and the service components behind their products.
Additionally, new product launches will be a major highlight, with over 70 companies – including Alibaba and Schneider Electric – planning to introduce more than 130 new products and innovations at the fair.
Organizers have confirmed over 170 forums, meetings, and promotional events, including the Global Services Trade Entrepreneurs Summit.
A series of key reports are also scheduled for release.
