ISLAMABAD: Office of the press registrar acknowledges the demand for extension of time period for registration of newspapers and magazines.
President APRNS Ghulam Murtaza Jatt yesterday met with Federal Adviser for Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan and Secretary Information Akbar Durrani to discuss the newspaper’s/magazine’s registration/ABC deadline.
He apprised the authority about the current situation and demanded extension of time period for the process of registration.
The authority extended the time period from April 15,2020 to May 15,2020. (An official office order has been released by press registrar).
After this office order, newspapers, journals,News agencies and printing presses of Gilgit-Baltistan and AJk will now be able to avail the benefit of extension in time period.
