ISLAMABAD: A team of Capital Cops led by ASP Hamza Amanullah held two accused of land grabbing, on a complaint filed by a woman belonging to Bara Kaho, on the dictation of SP City Umar Khan. The police raids are being carried out to arrest other accused.
Police have registered cases against accused Shoaib Ahmed son of Gulistan and accused Samar Abbas son of Manzoor Abbas under section 506 (ii), section 148 and section 149.
According to the cops, cases of illegal occupation of lands have already been registered against both the accused at PS Bara Kaho. Moreover, talking to media, ASP Hamza Amanullah said that raids have also been carried out on the hideouts of accused named Shaji and Tauseef and all the accused identified by the woman will be arrested soon.
He said that terrorism cases have been registered against Raja Nasir and Raja Razi, the leaders of the Land Mafia, under the Fourth Schedule.
While, SP City Umar khan said that Captal Cops were following the policy of zero tolerance against land mafia.
