Cops catch 10 outlaws

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops, in a bid to tighten noose around anti-social elements, busted 10 outlaws including five drug pushers from various parts of the city and recovered narcotics, wine and weapons from them.
According to details, IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan had ordered crackdown against criminals specially drug pushers. Following these orders DIG (Operations) Waqar Ud din Syed has directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime in the whole city and no laxity would be tolerated in this regards.
Thus SP Saddar constituted a police team under the supervision of ASP Rana Abdul Wahab including SHO Shalimar police station Sub- Inspector Suleman Shah, Sub- Inspector Azhar Mehmood along with other a drug pusher namely Shamsher Ahmed alias Shooter and recovered 1180 grams hashish from him. Case has been register against him and further investigation in underway from him. While police also arrested bootleggers namely Yasir and recovered six bottles wine from him.

Moreover, SP Investigation Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanveer constituted special police teams under supervision of In-charge ACLC Sub- Inspector Liaqat Ali including Sub-inspector Mashooq and others apprehended drug shfaq Ahmed. Police recovered 1800 gram hashish from him Case have been registered against them while further investigation is also underway from them.
Meanwhile, SP Industrial Area Zubair Ahmed Shaikh Sheikh constituted a police team under the supervision of SHO Industrial-Area police station Sub-Inspector Khurram Shehzad along with others arrested two accused Yaqoob Maish and Ayub Masih involved in illegally oil selling and cylinder filling, Case has been registered against them.
Furthermore Ramana police arrested accused Qasir and recovered 160 gram hashish from him. Shams colony police arrested bootleggers namely Haroon Masih and recovered 25 liters wine from him. Bani Gala police arrested accused Muhammad Ameen and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from him. Koral police arrested two accused Asad Mehmood and Rafaqat violating section 144. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them
DIG Operations Islamabad Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated the performance and directed all police officials for high vigilance and monitoring against those involved in anti-social activities. He said that Islamabad Police would also safeguard its youth from various evils like use of drugs and ensure brighter future of them. Waqar-ud-Din Syed said that it is the collective responsibility of the every person of the society to remain alert against those involve d in criminal activities in their surroundings and inform police for action against them.
