ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari has rejected Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Sherry Rehman’s statement regarding the overseas Pakistanis.
While reacting to the PPP leader’s remarks, Zulfi Bukhari said overseas Pakistanis already suffering from difficult circumstances should not be smeared for political purposes.
The PTI leader said there are only six percent coronavirus cases in the country due to the passengers returning from abroad.
Wrong information is already taking you towards destruction, he said while addressing Sherry Rehman.
Let it be known that the PPP senator had earlier criticized the government’s policy over its policy concerning the overseas Pakistanis.
21 percent cases in Pakistan emerged due to the Pakistanis coming from abroad, she had said in her statement.
