ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops, while tightening noose around anti-social elements, caught 18 outlaws including five members of two dacoit’s gangs and recovered snatched mobile phone, narcotics, wine stolen bike, valuables and weapons from their possession.
According to details, IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan ordered crackdown against criminal elements. Following these orders, DIG Operations Waqar-Ud-Din Syed has directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime in the city.
Following these directions, SP Saddar Sarfraz Ahmed Virk constituted special team under supervision of DSP Abid Akram including SHO Karachi Company Sub-Inspector Saleem Raza, Sub-Inspector Murtaza Qamer along with other officials which successfully arrested three members of a dacoit’s gang involved in snatching mobile phones, and other valuables at gun point from the citizens. The gangsters have been identified as Zakar –Ullah, Jameel Shah, and Haroon Bacha and police recovered nine snatched mobile phones, stolen bike and weapons from their possession. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway from them.
Moreover, under the supervision of ASP Rana Abdul Wahab and SHO Ramana police station Sub-Inspector Abdul Rasheed along with others officials which successfully nabbed two members of street criminal gang identified as Imdad Ali and Nazer Hussain and recovered snatched mobile phones, LCD, and impounded Vehicle used in crime. Cases have been registered against the nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from him.
Furthermore Aabpara police arrested accused Bilal and recovered 10 liters wine from him.
Bhara Kaho police arrested two accused Zia Aslam and Anjum Naiz and recovered stolen valuable from their possession. Golra police arrested two drug peddlers namely Fakhar Abbas and Muhammad Zaman and recovered 500 gram hashish from their possession.
Tarnol police arrested accused Tahir Mehmood and recovered 120 gram heroine from him. While police also arrested an Afghan national accused Zar Muhammad. Khanna police arrested accused Qasir Shah and recovered 1.035 kilogram hashish from him.
Koral police arrested two accused Shah Zaib and Shah Rukh and recovered 1.420 kilogram hashish and 48 wine bottles from their possession. Industrial-Area police arrested accused Muhammad Ishaq and recovered snatched mobile phone and pistol 30 bore from their possession.
Lohi Bher police arrested accused Saif and recovered three wine bottles from him.Separate cases have been registered against the nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. During special crackdown against absconders, Islamabad police nabbed 03 proclaimed offenders and court absconders from various area of the city.
DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
