Naseem troubled all batsmen with his pace on Day one of practice match

Derby: Emerging pacer Naseem Shah, according to England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) report of the opening day of the Pakistan’s intra-squad match, impressed with his pace on a slow Incora County Ground pitch.
The 17-year-old Naseem along with Mohammad Abbas for PCB Green shared six wickets against PCB White who closed on 231-8.
Naseem operated off a short run-up and generated considerable pace on a slow pitch and troubled all the batsmen, although he had to wait until after lunch for his wickets.
Fawad Alam became the victim of Naseem’s furious bouncer as he needed treatment and a new helmet after he was clattered. Naseem finished with 3-45 on Day one, dismissing Imam-ul-Haq, Haider Ali and Shadab Khan.
It must be noted that Pakistan will play two intra-squad practice matches in Derby ahead of the first Test in Manchester. – Agencies
