Islamabad: FPCCI We strongly condemn the action taken by Lahore administration for postponement of General Body Meeting of FPCCI. Mirza Abdul Rehman in a statement here said that due to strong participation of trade bodies all over Pakistan and success of Business Man Panel, the opposition group UBG was too much afraid and yesterday with mutual understanding of Lahore Administration an information given to FPCCI Lahore office after office hours that “due to covid 19 situation we are not allowed to hold this General Body Meeting Session” . Not only Leading group BMP in FPCCI but all over the country each and every business community’s leading personality ,association as well as trade body know their dirty delaying tactics. Mirza Abdul Rehman coordinator FPCCI, further clarify and said that The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry FPCCI is an Apex body of Business Community of Pakistan. And we always follow rules and regulation in every matter and it is our at most concern to follow the SOP’s due to Covid 19 situation now a days. He further added here that when Parliament and National Assembly sessions are possible to be held , why not it is possible in Lahore . Coordinator FPCCI added here that, when there is no restriction in Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta offices why it is difficult as even impossible in Lahore to hold the said session.
He further said that if we added here in our agenda of the meeting “Kashmir Resolution” then same office same Lahore administration had to provide us Proper Protocol officially. We strongly demand the transfer of the incapable Deputy Commissioner Lahore immediately, for the satisfaction of business community of Pakistan.
Moreover, Mirza Abdul Rehman said that this act from Lahore Administration have also made trade bodies as well as all Pakistan Chambers Elections Doubtful now.
