4th Day of 2nd Test abandoned due to heavy rain at Southampton

Southampton: Day 4 of the second Test between Pakistan and England at The Rose Bowl has been abandoned due to heavy outfield.
According to ground staff, it will take nearly 3 hours to get the field fit for play, as it is extremely wet due to heavy rain.
Only 10.2 overs were bowled in the day. Pakistan resumed their first innings at 223-9. They batted for 5.2 overs and put 236 on the board. Mohammad Rizwan was removed by Stuart Broad after getting a leading edge to Zak Crawley.
Rizwan was the top-scorer for the hosts, scoring 72 off 139 balls. The other two notable scorers in Pakistan’s innings were Abid Ali, who scored 60 and Babar Azam, who made a well-fought 47.
Broad was the pick of the bowlers for England, picking 4-56. James Anderson claimed 3-60 whereas Sam Curran and Chris Woakes took a wicket each.
England were put on the backfoot by Shaheen Afridi as he removed opener Rory Burns in the first over. Zak Crawley (5*) and Dom Sibley (2*) were the batters at the crease until rain once again played a spoilsport in this Test match the umpires took the teams off.
