Azhar becomes fifth Pakistani batsman to score 6000 runs in Test Cricket

Southampton: Pakistan’s Test captain Azhar Ali has become the fifth Pakistani batsman to score 6000 runs in Test cricket.
The 35-year-old achieved this feat in the ongoing Test against England at the Rose Bowl. He is currently batting at 69* off 154 balls.

He joins the elite list which includes Younis Khan (10099), Javed Miandad (8832), Inzamam-ul-Haq (8829) and Mohammad Yousuf (7530).
Azhar has represented Pakistan in 80 Tests, scoring 6007 runs with the help of 16 centuries and 31 fifties. – Agencies
