ECB to host West Indies women for five T20Is in September

Derby: England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed that they will host West Indies women in September this year for five T20Is.
All the matches will be played here at the Incora County Ground in a bio-secured environment. This will be the first women international series since March after which all major sporting events were postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak across the country.
The third T20I will be live at the BBC and Sky Sports, becoming the first-ever international match to get on-air for the first time since the 1993 Women’s World Cup final.
Meanwhile, India and South Africa have refused to travel to England amid current tense situation due to COVID-19.
It must be noted here that ECB have already started men’s international cricket with hosting West Indies in June-July and Pakistan in August-September. Both teams played in a bio-secure environment. – Agencies
