Asif threatens to hit Paul with bat

Karachi: Pakistan’s hard-hitting batsman Asif Ali has landed himself in trouble after he strongly raised his bat within centimeters of bowler Keemo Paul’s face during the Carribbean Premier League (CPL) match between Jamaica Tallawahs and Guyana Amazon Warriors on Tuesday.
The right-handed batsman representing Tallahwahs, is now facing disciplinary action for his act. Paul gave a send-off to Asif as he made his way towards the pavilion after his 3-run knock.
Asif Ali’s miscued pull shot was caught brilliantly by Warriors captain Chris Green at long on. Asif’s bizarre manner also shocked the commentators. After his actions, Paul once again turned and confronted Asif.
It must be noted that Tallahwahs won the match by five wickets, chasing 109 with two overs to spare. – Agencies
